OneShot

Delete your OneShot account

You can delete your OneShot account and the data in it at any time. There are two ways, and the first is faster.

1. In the app — takes about ten seconds

  1. Open OneShot and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm. We ask twice, on purpose — this cannot be undone.

This works for both athlete and coach accounts.

2. By email — for anyone who can't use the app

Use this if you have already removed the app, can't sign in, or you are a parent or guardian asking on behalf of your child.

Email us with the account's email address or username and tell us you want it deleted.

legal@oneshotathlete.com

We reply within 24 hours and complete the deletion within 30 days. A person checks who is asking before anything is deleted — which is why this route is an email and not a button on this page.

What gets deleted

Everything that makes up your profile and everything you posted:

What we keep, and for how long

We keep a small amount of information after deletion. We would rather say so here than leave you to find out.

WhatWhyHow long
Safety and moderation records — reports made about an account, and any action taken Deleting an account must not erase a record of harm to somebody else, or let the same person start again with a clean slate Up to 2 years
Guardian-consent records: that consent was asked for, and the answer We have to be able to show that a child was protected, and by whom Up to 2 years
Aggregate, anonymous counts (e.g. "how many athletes ran this challenge") These are no longer about you and cannot be traced back to you Indefinite
Records we are legally required to keep Law, or an open legal request As required

None of it is used to contact you, to rebuild your profile, or shown to any coach or athlete. Nothing about you is ever sold.

If you're a parent or guardian

You can ask us to delete your child's account whether or not you ever approved it, and whether or not they still use it. Email legal@oneshotathlete.com from the address we contacted you at, if you have it — that makes it quicker.

You can also withdraw permission for coaches to message your child without deleting anything. Say so in the same email.
